It's always fun to be part of another person's vision. Studio Finch Photography contacted me to be a part of this beautiful wedding inspiration they created. Inspired by trips to Grandma's house, the result is this lovely combination of modern meets vintage. Ipomea Floral's stunning flowers of shades of whites combined with aqua and blush are the perfect pops of color. My contribution are the envelopes for the whimsical invitations. Ruffled Blog featured this wedding inspiration shoot in all it's elegant beauty. Enjoy!

Florida Wedding on Style Me Pretty!
OK, so the kids are back in school, and I've finally figured out how to work and have 3 little ones to care for. I'm out of excuses for not posting things to my blog!
Thankfully I've been so extremely busy, but it leaves little time to feature the work I've been working on! Style Me Pretty has helped me out on this one featuring one of my bride's gorgeous weddings on their Florida blog. It's always such an honor to be featured on their blog!

Kara's style was bold and beautiful with colorful paper pieces. In addition to addressing her envelopes, I also had the pleasure of creating seating charts for each table as well as a variety of signs and table numbers. They all turned out wonderfully and fit her style to a T.

A Vintage Wedding
It is always so exciting when one of my bride's perfect wedding day is feature in a blog! While I loved addressing Kelly and Luke's envelopes, it was the added details I helped with that are just so special. Kelly had big plans, and I'm honored to help bring some of them to life. I absolutely adore the direction sign leading guests to the events of the day!
Glamour & Grace blog highlights each special moment along the way from the adorable hangers made by Kelly for her bridesmaids to the gorgeous photo of Kelly and her father walking down the aisle. Kristin La Voie Photography captured every last detail beautifully.
Enjoy!

Fall In Love with this Fall Wedding Invitation
I love designing wedding invitations. In my former life, I worked in Marketing Communications with a heavy emphasis on graphic design and print production. I enjoy the design process and creating something beautiful.
Liza and Neil trusted me to create their fall wedding invitation. At our first meeting, Liza and her mother came armed with inspiration pieces which gave me a real sense of what they liked and didn't like. The wheels in my head started turning immediately. I created 5 invitation samples and after some mixing and matching, we decided on the pieces below.
It was such a pleasure to work with Liza and her mom, Sue. Working with such wonderful brides and mothers truly makes my job a treat! Below is the lovely e-mail I received from Sue.
THANK YOU for your beautiful contribution to making this wedding a beautiful celebration. Your artistry was a truly unexpected gift that exceeded our expectations. Your work sets the scene for the event that unfolds and there is no way to measure how much excitement and anticipation your creation creates! Your kind helpfulness made the decision making a fun process, not a chore, and you handle every detail with professionalism and promptness.

Linda + Mike = Beautiful Wedding Day
Arizona provided the perfect backdrop to Linda and Mike's intimate wedding. They commissioned me write their seating chart. After framing it in a beautiful frame (found by the bride at none other than Hobby Lobby), the chart was carefully positioned among wedding flowers and candles. The elegant table welcomed guests and set the mood for an enchanted evening.

Black & White and Wed All Over
It's always so much fun to see wedding trends in wedding stationery. It seems there are always a couple new fonts that I see over and over again each wedding season and popular colors (purple, a personal favorite, is popping up everywhere). But never before have I seen an envelope color take over weddings the way black and dark gray has!
I just finished my sixth set of black/dark gray envelopes, and I have another set ready to start tonight! And as always, what I love about my job, is that each bride who has chosen to use such a dramatic envelope has selected a very different calligraphy style for each. No two brides have requested the same calligraphy style and a couple have even requested custom styles.
I thought I'd share a few photos of 3 of these sets and perhaps provide some additional inspiration for another trendy bride!

The Knot Chicago Magazine
Everyone needs to pick up The Knot Chicago's Fall/Winter Magazine! Not only is it packed with oodles of wedding goodness, but it includes a little wedding inspiration from yours truly. Yes, one of my envelopes can be found on page 40!
The envelope is a beautiful navy color with silver ink giving it a very regal look. It's fun to include your wedding color somewhere other than the bridesmaid dresses and flowers. You can show off your color of choice by selecting envelopes that match. And navy is a color that is so classic, it can be used for a wedding set any time of the year.
